Gallery - Radiosity Lighting
These images were taken before dynamic lighting became mainstream: They show realistic, physically correct lighting that has been precomputed by the CaLight map compile tool. CaLight employs the Radiosity method and tone-mapping operators in order to achieve its results, and stores all of its computational results in full-colored "lightmaps" for easy and quick rendering.
