Questions to the forumers

Post by Denny » 2007-08-19, 17:32

The thing is that I'm planning to make a map for the Ca3DE demo with high resolution content. It's going to be a horror themed map. I have some questions though to what you guys think.

1. I've been thinking of doing a mansion type map. Both in and out setting. Yay or nay?
2. Was thinking of making a completely new bot (model) for this map, instead of Trinity. You guys have any ideas? (Werewolf for example)
3. Friend or foe? :<
4. Any requests?

Hi!

I like your idea - mansions look so cool in games and give you many design possibilties. You could create monsters, but keep in mind that there is no enemy AI YET. Soon this might change witht he instruction of LUA scripting. Keep also in mind that - depending on what sort of human/monster you model - new animations might be needed.

Suggestions: When the first WIP material pops up I might have some ideas. Good luck :) And ask us if you have any problems ;)

I too think it's a great idea! :cheesy:
As Thrawn already said, don't worry about missing features, I'll be happy to add them as you go.
Best regards,
Carsten

I might add that I'm neither pro nor utter beginner at animation. Let's just say I'm a jack of all trades. Not awesome but I get things done. :)
